A crystal grid looks like a diagram, which is why people assume there is a correct way to make one and get stuck before they start. There is no correct way. There is a shape, and there is your reason for making it.
Why twelve points
Twelve is the number of the Chinese zodiac. Twelve points in a circle, and one of them marked — in our frames it is marked in cinnabar red. That marked point is your sign. It is the only part of the grid that is about you specifically.
The four steps
- Choose one intention. Not three. One sentence, short enough to say out loud.
- Lay out the twelve points. A circle, evenly spaced. No geometry needed — a dinner plate as a guide is fine.
- Mark one point. Yours. Some people mark the point of a person they are keeping close instead.
- Put it where your day starts or ends. A hallway shelf, a bedside table, the desk you sit at first.
What it is not
A grid is not a machine that produces outcomes. It is an object that holds a decision in place, so you do not have to keep re-deciding. If you want a better reason than that, there isn’t one — and that reason is honest.
Our framed grid comes already laid out in twenty centimetres, with the cinnabar point in your sign’s colour.
